For each week, on the appointed day, you will enter your last name in whatever project you have chosen to work on below.  If you are choosing Project Y or Project Z, you will also need to add what you are doing in parentheses after your name.

COURSE EXPECTATIONS
To receive credit for the course, you must
  1. Complete the Opening Reflection assignment.
  2. Complete 7 of the following writing projects along with their research/study components (no repeats).
  3. Compile your work into an online writing portfolio (weebly.com and wix.com are free and easy).
  4. Complete the course final.

ONLINE WRITING PORTFOLIO
You will organize your work into an online portfolio.  Essentially, this will be your website designed to showcase your work.  You can organize it however you see fit (chronologically, by genre, by topic, poetry/story/project, etc…).  Weebly.com and Wix.com are both free and easy, but you may use whatever you like.

​FOR EACH ENTRY, you must include the following:
The full text of your FINAL writing project.
A PERSONAL REFLECTION on your work, answering the following questions:
a. What did you like most about this piece? Use specific examples from your work.
b. What did you like least about this piece? Use specific examples from your work.
c. What was most difficult for you while working on this piece? Use specific examples from your work.
d. What peer editing suggestion helped you the most while revising this piece? Use specific examples from your work.
e. How does this piece compare to your other work in this course? Use specific examples from your work.
f. What would you change if you had the chance to do this piece over again? Use specific examples from your work.
g. What do you want the reader to take away from your piece? (What’s your purpose/thesis?)
h. In what areas do you think that you still need improvement? Use specific examples from your work.
l. What does this piece say about you or how you view the world around you?
j. What is a goal you have for yourself for your next piece of writing?
